Overview:

Bachelor of Financial Intelligence (Honours), this is one of our Home-Grown conventional Program. It studies how to gather information about the financial affairs on entities or individuals, to understand their nature and capabilities and predict their intentions. It is understanding how someone makes, manages and invests money. Financial intelligence can be broken down into two main areas, data collection and financial analysis. One of the purposes of financial intelligence is to identify financial transactions that may involve tax evasion, money laundering or some other criminal activity. As a Bachelor of Financial Intelligence graduate, he or she will be able to work in Financial Intelligence Unit Department in any sector, Financial Analytics Associate, Financial Crimes Investigator, Financial Research Analyst, Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis, Due Diligence Researcher, Lead Customer Due Diligence Research/Investigations, Remote Anti-Financial Crime (AFC) AML – Model Development, etc.

Entry requirements

  • Pass Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) with a minimum Grade C+ (GP 2.33) in any 2 subjects and pass Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) ( or any equivalent qualification with credit in Mathematics and pass in English; or
  • Pass Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with a minimum grade of Jayyid and pass SPM (or any equivalent qualification) with credit in Mathematics and pass in English; or
  • Matriculation /Foundation qualification with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 out of 4.00, and pass SPM (or any equivalent qualification) with credit in Mathematics and pass in English; or
  • Any qualification equivalent to Diploma inf Finance, Banking, Insurance or related filed (Level 4 Malaysian Qualifications Framework, MQF) with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 out of 4.00; or
  • Other relevant qualification recognised by Malaysian Government.

    Note: The credit requirement for Mathematics and pass in English at SPM level for candidate in category (i), (ii), and (iii) can be waived should the qualifications contain Mathematics and English subjects with equivalent / higher achievement.

    International students are required to achieve a minimum score of 6.0 for International English Language Testing System (IELTS) or its equivalent.
