Overview:
Bachelor of Science (Hons) Accounting and Finance is one of our home-grown program in the Accountancy field. It is designed to prepare students with the competencies that are functional, personal and provides a broad business perspective relating the needs of the business organisations in every sectors. This program will be equipped with critical thinking, analytical, as well as problem-solving skills with entrepreneurial, ethics, professional skills needed to succeed in today’s dynamics and ever-evolving business world. This program opens a vast opportunity to students to enhance the necessary skills in accountancy profession that enable both; progression and exemption to accounting qualifications offered by other recognised professional accounting bodies in global.
Student obtained this Bachelor degree will be able to manage a business or organisation prominently on financial performance and equity management aspects. This program is also industry-relevant with key areas of focus comprising corporate reporting, financial control, audit engagement, treasure, performance management, regulatory compliance and professional ethics. Graduates will be able to become entrepreneurs as well as accountants with the leadership skills and the fundamental knowledge skills required in the current era, for an accounting career in industry and commerce, both in the public and private sectors.

* Malaysian University English Test (MUET) Band 2 AND; 1. A pass in Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) or its equivalent, with a minimum Grade C+ (Grade Point 2.33) in any two subjects, and credits in Mathematics and a pass in English at Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level; OR 2. A pass in Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with a minimum grade of Jayyid, (good) and credits in Mathematics and a pass in English at SPM level; OR 3. A Diploma in accounting or related field, or its equivalent with a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.50, and credits in Mathematics and a pass in English at SPM level; OR 4. Matriculation/Foundation qualification or its equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.50, and credits in Mathematics and a pass in English at SPM level; OR English Competency Requirement (International Student): ** Achieve a minimum score of 550 in Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) / 5.5 in International English Language Testing System (IELTS) or its Equivalent. |
